On Monday 12th June Tara National Park and Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park (Colorado, U.S.) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding.
The agreement was signed in the presence of ambassador of US his Excellency Kyle Scot and State secretary of Ministry of agriculture and environmental protection Mrs. Stana Bozovic. Two parks becoming “Sister Parks” and partnering on shared objectives such as conservation, administration, education and research.
A delegation of Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park with superintendant Bruce Noble visited Tara National Park where TNP officials led them on a three-day familiarization tour. They learned about and discussed common issues that they share.
